THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT FOR RED NOSE DAY – March 2013
Thank you very much for all your support for Red Nose Day this year. We raised over £125. Take a look at the photo’s below to see how Kay’s family made some cakes that helped raise money for people who are not lucky to be able to live in homes and families like we do. We found out about a little girl who had no fresh water to drink and had to clean her teeth in the street. The children really identified with her leading to one of our children leaving out a cup of fresh water. When her mom asked her what she was doing she said she was taking the water out for the little girl who did not have any.
The children made some scrummy cakes and we sold them to our parents – they were very popular!
The last few photos show the children recalling how they had made the cakes too. – everything we do is a learning opportunity.
A great fun week was had by all. Thank you again for giving so generously.
