Forest school – the story of the leaf man

This week the children shared the story of the Leaf man who blew away across the country and saw lots of things along the way. Then the children explored outdoors collecting what they could find then using them to make pictures. They are having a great time learning about the world around Parkfields and how things around them in the world are changing with the seasons.

Windsor princes and princesses

The forest school group this week have made crowns using willow and weaving leaves and flowers into them.

FOREST SCHOOL GETS UNDER WAY – IN SPITE OF THE TORRENTIAL RAIN!!

Forest school has started. The children have learned about keeping dry by putting on their waterproofs and wellies and wearing their special vests so they can be seen and always  listening to the whistle.
