Out on an adventure
The children went exploring over the fields – they met some horses they knew – they were BIG! At the bottom of the field they found a bridge with a stream underneath – we don’t know where it goes or or who might live under it. I wonder if you know??
Some rhymes to enjoy sharing with your child
Why not look some rhymes up on your computer – get a version that you can listen to and enjoy sharing together
Leaf Art
Following on from the leaf man story last week the children have used the autumn leaves to make a huge picture together for themselves.
Take a look at the huge snake they made – long enough for them all to climb on, walk along and then —- jump over his head so he doesn’t bite them.
The children had so much fun rolling down the hill. The outdoors costs us nothing – and is a crucial part of a balanced education
Autumn is here – leaf man must be back
You don’t always need a pencil and paper to make marks – did you know you can make a picture of leaf man with real leaves – look at what the children have done and try it out for yourself. Leaf man can blow wherever he wants – that is very exciting.
The best free resource there is – a stick!
The children have been collecting sticks as they were out and about today – they have used them to make a fire so they can have hot chocolate! They also LOVED playing in the fallen leaves – it makes us all want to be children again!
