Summer Break

The children break up for the summer holiday after nursery on Friday 17th July and we wish the children and families a healthy and happy summer break. Please see our links tab for some websites/resources you may enjoy, for example, Hungry Little Minds, National Literacy Trust.

Thank You

Thank you to all families for your trust, flexibility and support as children have returned through the summer term. It has been a delight to reconnect with many more children and a pleasure to see them relish the opportunity to see their friends, play together and enjoy the outdoors.

Moving On

We send our best wishes to all the children moving on from Windsor, in their transitions to new schools in September. We have shared information with the different schools to do all we can to help the children’s smooth transition. We hope the children can enjoy looking back at their learning journeys with parents and carers during the summer.

September 2020 – Returning and New Children

We look forward to welcoming back all returning children from Monday 7th September 2020 and welcoming children new to Windsor following their settling visits with a parent/carer which may take place on 2nd/3rd September and/or subsequent Tuesdays. Each child’s key person will be in touch to share pod arrangements, dates and times. As always, our aim is to ensure a very positive nursery experience for every child and family.

Covid Secure

In September, we will maintain our pod organisation and robust safety measures designed to interrupt the transmission of Covid-19. Please see our Covid-19 risk assessment.

Please can we ask

  1. To stay home if your child or any household member has Covid symptoms and call Windsor on 01902 558128
  2. To wash hands just before leaving home
  3. 1 parent/carer only to bring/collect child
  4. To arrive and collect promptly at arranged start/end times
  5. To socially distance while awaiting entry to pod and when collecting
  6. Wash hands on arrival home
