The children investigated the outdoors – it was wet and all the slugs had come out, they also took a look at how the vole had nibbled the fruit ( we didn’t see him but Sharon showed us a picture of a vole – they are very small) they then used real resources to make their crowns. they were very confident using the secateurs – why not take a look!
The children have been digging and planting in the garden. They also took time to ‘smell the flowers!’
The children have planted herbs in the new planter – rosemary, lavender, mint, thyme and chives. The children are enjoying rubbing the leaves gently to smell the special scents
It was hard work negotiating where the wheelbarrows had to go especially when they were full with soil!
